Welcome to the Washa Njia Challenge. These terms and conditions govern your participation in the challenge. By participating in this challenge, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before participating in the challenge.
Eligibility:
The challenge is open to Kenyans who are between 15-30 years of age. Employees and immediate family members of our company are not eligible to participate.
Challenge Rules:
1. The deadline for submissions will be on Wednesday 14th June 2023.
2. To participate, you must be a Kenyan citizen and between 15-30 years of age.
3. Entries that do not meet the participation requirements or that are submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
4. You may submit only one entry.
5. By submitting an entry, you warrant that the entry is your original work and does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
6. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that we determine, in our sole discretion, does not meet the challenge rules or is otherwise inappropriate.
7. The awards will be: Winner – Ksh. 50,000; First runner up – Ksh. 30,000; Second runner up – Ksh. 20,000. All other shortlisted contestants will be awarded a certificate of participation.
8. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow us to use their name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
9. We reserve the right to cancel or modify the challenge at any time for any reason.
Privacy:
We will collect and use personal information about you for the purpose of administering the challenge. We will not disclose your personal information to any third party, except as required by law.
Limitation of Liability:
To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any damages arising out of your participation in the challenge, including but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, and/or economic loss.
Governing Law:
These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya.
Dispute Resolution:
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
By participating in the challenge, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
